I am going to spend Mother’s Day alone as usual.

My only child works out of state. He will call of course. He wants to make me happy.

My grandchildren are busy with their mom. Later, they will see their grandmother that lives right next door.

I have learned to keep busy on Mother’s Day. After all, it is only 24 hours.

Mother’s Day does need to be big and expensive. All my mom wants it to spend time together. It’s one of the only days I will sit through a football match, because she wants to watch it.
