I have 120 thousand miles on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. I haven’t had any major issues and haven’t thought about getting a different vehicle.
However, I keep reading that the new tariffs could drive up the prices of vehicles in the near future in the US.
I have enough cash saved up to buy another vehicle in full.
Should I look into another vehicle before prices go up, or should I keep driving my Jeep and hope there’s no major issues?
TIA
StefanStick with the jeep then buy a Toyota or Honda. Never buy a Chrysler product again.
KeithMight want to look. Hopefully these tariffs dont last though.
JennKeep driving the jeep! How many miles do you drive annually?
JohnKeep driving the Jeep GC. 120k miles is not as much as it used to be for cars.
ChetKeep driving the Jeep. There may be a temporary increase in prices, but I can tell you from my POV as a Supply Chain Professional in the automotive industry, the OEM’s will stabalize things soon enough.
Remember, the current pricing is still high from the previous disruptions that have not fully stabalized, so the OEM’s are going to be forced to take significant actions very soon.
They may just start actually reducing complexity and removing costly content that the customers don’t use.
JennNO car is cheaper than whatever you have that is paid for already. Drive it until it dies.
