I’m getting ready to apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card to start travel hacking. Should I add my husband as an authorized user? Or could he get his own card later and maximize an additional 60K points?
We both have excellent credit.
AshleyHe should definitely get his own. There are some great Facebook groups with tons of education on how to go about it.
Disclaimer, with the huge rise in popularity it’s become very difficult to get great award flights without some deep research and plenty of preplanning.
And if an airline cancels you are put on the next flight with award availability, not just the next flight.
