where do yall shop for soap, shampoo etc? that’s one area where I’d love to cut costs more aggressively.

I always bought the biggest cheapest bottle of whatever product I needed but now I live with my partner and there’s some stuff she’s more picky about, trying to do my best to make sure she’s satisfied with something she cares about and keep costs as low as possible.

Couponing!!! I never pay full price for toiletries, paper towels, or toilet paper.

I’m a hairdresser and you really should buy one that’s alcohol, free and everything.

There are many items out there now that are a little more than the big bottle might cost but if you just use no more than a quarter size that’s all you need and less for conditioner, unless really thick hair cause you don’t really want it to be too greasy with the conditioner make sure you get the ends good but don’t use too much product and you can get way better shampoo and you will notice a difference

There were a whole bunch of Family Dollar that went out of business in my area.

I waited until everything was 75% to 90% off and I have enough shampoo to last until my kids are 18 years old.

Dollar tree. 1.25 for most things. They do have some better brands for $3

Usually, the cheap bottles are watered down. I buy a good brand and use less than I did when I bought cheap ones. They last longer for me.

Check out the ones your partner likes and see if they work for you, too.

Large bottles usually cost less per ounce than a smaller bottle. Watch for sales also.

I go to Bath and Body Works. I buy all my soaps during the twice a year clearance when body wash can be as cheap as $3.00 a bottle.

I buy 1 foaming soap and as it gets used, I refill it with the regular soap (1 part Soap to 7 parts water makes foaming soap).

I can buy a years worth of soap for under $25 bucks.

Dollar store or sales. I splurge on good shampoo and conditioners though
