Does anyone make breakfast sandwiches? What is the best way to store them and then heat them up? Do they heat up well?

My husband wakes up very early so he usually doesn’t have time to make breakfast.

I buy the frozen ones in the store…they heat in 90 seconds and I can’t make them that cheaply.

Made breakfast sandwiches on biscuits. English muffin or burritos.. wrapped in paper towel. Freezer ziplock bag .take one out while we were getting ready..

he would microwave. It was great to use up that little bit of left over scrambled eggs. With cheese..

I’ve done onion peppers hot sauce. Yummy

I do egg, cheese and sausage with an English muffin. Wrap in paper towel in the fridge and reheat in the microwave in the morning.

They are really good. I wouldn’t make them for several days, just make one each night.

The eggs get dry if they are refrigerated too long.

I make a dozen at a time. I use 2 packages of jimmy dean sausage, fried, 2 packages of english muffins, slightly toasted, a dozen eggs baked in a silicone muffin ‘tin” and sliced plastic cheese.

I let the parts cool completely, wrap them in a paper towel and then plastic wrap and freeze.

I let them thaw overnight and disassemble to microwave, the sausage and egg takes longer than the buns

I like making burritos more than sandwiches. For burritos, I make them all up, wrap in cling wrap, and freeze.

Microwave for 45-60 seconds and you’re ready to go.

Sandwiches I make (sometimes with bagels and sometimes bisuits and sometimes pancakes) but I’ve never frozen because I make 6-12 at a time and the guys eat before they go bad (as opposed to burritos which sometimes I make a really big batch)

One of my coworkers would make them, wrap them in parchment and then aluminum foil.

She’d get to work, unwrap and take off the parchment and then rewrap in the aluminum foil and heat it up on her coffee warmer.

Breakfast burritos heat up well in the microwave. I make egg “ McMuffins” and freeze.

Those are best if you put them in the fridge to thaw before heating.

Also, a potato and egg casserole works well.

I make egg bites with turkey sausage, cheese, & eggs, not sandwiches, no bread….so low carb.

Bake in muffin tin then freeze. Super easy.

I make them sometimes. I use English muffina, cheese, egg and sausage. If you toast the English muffin well it seems to work better. I just freeze them after they are cold.

They do reheat better if defrosted so I would typically pull one out the night before and put in fridge.

I just reheated them in the microwave.

I make the ingredients and store them in the fridge. then put the sandwich together in the morning cuz I want freshly toasted bread lol.

The eggs, sausage, whatever heat up nicely in the microwave for 60 seconds
