Just a frugal reminder if you’re going out to dinner check the happy hour menu. We made plans to meet up with some people at 6:00 p.m. for dinner not realizing they had happy hour until 6:00.

We ended up getting there a bit earlier and everything we already knew we wanted to order was on the happy hour menu.

Our dinner was nearly half price as a result!

And sometimes those half price appetizers are enough for a meal.

One of the best times to go out for small plates and drinks. Get in and get out cuz others are waiting for this special hour also.

Don’t take up a table too long. Coming from a sever.

We have an outstanding seafood restaurant locally that serves happy hour food at the bar, and it is inexpensive and delicious!

Lol. My husband and I used to do IF and our usual dinner time was between 3 and 4.

And since then, that’s the time my body wants dinner we take advantage of the Texas Roadhouse old folks dinner special.

This true of two restaurants we like (both pretty good value even not at, as one calls it, El Cheapo Hour.)
