If she has a yard .. plant a tree in memory of mothers. Make it a tree that blooms with flowers.
EmmeA good meal is always my go to. If you are not local, maybe find out what they are loving lately & order takeout for them or offer a voucher/gift certificate. After loss or during times of stress/celebration, it is so hard to think of ourselves & our needs, but everyone needs to eat! Or even a grocery voucher could go a long way.
CathyA photo blanket of she and her dear mother along with other family photos. She can curl up and use it as comfort. She’ll be wrapped in love.
JosephiniePut together a hamper of stuff they can both enjoy. Teas, coffees, biscuits/cakes/savoury treats that have a relatively long date.
