Have you read Psychology of Money yet? I’m loving it!

My mother begged my father to travel year after year, and he promised to show her the world after he retired.

Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away immediately after retirement.

They never got to see the world.

The best my mom gets is a bus trip with the senior travel groups now and then.

She will join us on vacations now and then, but it’s not the same as we tend to do kid focused trips.

THANK YOU for this tip about Spotify. I had no idea there were audiobooks on there.

I only use it for music.

I just searched “finance audiobooks” and tons came up!

This isn’t really a good book if your kids are grown or your financially savvy and well off, but I am finding some interesting facts and getting a few chuckles (he has a good sense of humor) out of it.

For me, it’s nice to be reminded that I am not responsible for sending my kid to an Ivy League school and hearing about the drawbacks to student loans.

(We are surrounded by couples that feel all kids must go to college, and the top ones at that.

I actually think I heard a neighbor gasp once when I mentioned I went to community college for two years before heading to a four year college.)

I grabbed this off of Libby and like the fact that it was free and it can simply be checked back in if I don’t find interest in it.

The last book I read was great…The Philosophy of Money.
