I’m trying to be more intentional about my finances, and I know there are a lot of great apps out there that can help with budgeting, saving, and cutting down on unnecessary expenses.
From cashback apps and coupon finders to budgeting tools and investment platforms, I’m curious to know what everyone else is using.
Do you have any go-to apps that really help you save money? Whether it’s something that rounds up your purchases and saves the spare change, tracks your spending, finds you deals and discounts, or even helps you plan better for the month—I’d love to hear about it.
Please mention the name of the app and how you personally use it. What do you like most about it? Is there any app you tried and didn’t like?
I’m open to both Android and iOS suggestions.
I think this could be helpful not just for me but for others who want to build smarter money habits.
Thanks in advance!
KaylaI’m quite frugal and only app I use is my banking app. I write a budget with the costs due out each month. Then track this with what I spend.
It sounds basic but saving isn’t complicated.
Hope this helps xxx
ShannonI don’t use apps. We eat very basic. I buy whole food in bulk. I can and preserve. I make things from scratch. We buy a whole cow.
If you’re just starting, go in with family, friends, coworkers, church group, whoever wants to get in on the deal.
Get it vacuumed sealed, and it’ll last longer. We grow a garden but even growing herbs will save a ton of money.
Shop sales and stock up.
AmandaCVS app. Clipping coupons that correspond with the weekly add to get the best savings and that give ECB!!!
There is also a FB group for CVS deals and if you are on TikTok or instagram there are people that will break it down on what is the best deals for the week!
I literally stocked up on essentials like tooth paste laundry detergent shampoos conditioners and body wash knowing I was going to need to be extra frugal for at least a year while going back to school.
HelenTry market research, they are an opportunity to do in person research studies / focus groups about everything from food to cars every state seems to have them and you get paid cash money at the end of the group anywhere between $20 -$200+
EvaThe free app from Dave Ramsey… forgot the exact name but easy to find from his website, it has the word every in it
LoriThanks for asking this question, I had no idea there were so many! I have tried a few, but it didn’t seem worth my time.
If I have multiple, and reuse same receipts, I think this will definitely make an impact.
SusieNot a money-saving app per se, but I love Monarch Money to manage my finances. I know where every penny goes, and no transactions slip past me.
Best way to manage cash flow, make sure there are no unused subscriptions, fraudulent charges on my credit cards, etc.
