i like the chocolate bars at Aldi and they are inexpensive, but I thought they were inconveniently packaged, many times just one really big bar in foil with the cardboard outside, not conducive to a single bite or two of chocolate at a time.
my solution was to break up the bars into bite size pieces inside ziplock bags.
the result is a bag of chocolate bits that you can just grab one piece out of at a time.
Inexpensive and tasty solution for my chocolate treat
JennyGood idea! I sometimes put mine in a recycled glass jar.
LisaMy mom taught me to break them up and put in a container in the freezer.
So now my husband does it too.
DarleeneWow! You have the willpower to just eat one piece!? How do you do that?
Dang, now I want chocolate
BjusterExactly, that’s how we do it. My mom left us an old chocolate-/candy jar (a lot of memories) and we keep the broken up pieces of chocolate in there.
Aldi chocolate is the best!
ChelseaSome of them are individually packaged. They are divided into five little bars.
I like the dark chocolate mint and the toffee one.
MelissaI just fold the provided foil over what is left. I break a piece off and refold the foil when desired.
DawnA rolling pin or hammer and zip lock bags come in handy!!
