I’m looking to make some budget cuts and while I want to be frugal honestly I’m not, but my husband is. For TP I use Charmin Ultra Soft.

Has anyone found anything comparable at a cheaper price? I have tried Angel Soft and it was not soft enough.

Another place I was thinking we could possibly save is cell phone plan.

We have T-Mobile and pay around $100 a month. Happy to get recommendations and will most likely be asking for more!

I’ve used Member’s Mark Premium 45 roll TP from Sam’s for years; with tax, $25.22 yesterday. We have no complaints.

This Fall I think we’ll go with Visible cell service; currently have Verizon; should save us $50+ a month.

As odd as it sounds, I try to really think about how many squares I use.

I also am a TP snob, only but that brand as well. But also, nobody wants a sore bum from crappy TP like I’m forced to use at work.

Lol that’s my way of saving. 3 for wet, 4…ish for you know what. Lol

We also only exclusively used Charmin Ultra soft and have found both Sam’s club and Northern to be very good and comparable, but at a much better price.

The dollar general brand that is comparable to the Charmin soft is very close to the same.

I’ve used it for at least two years. It says on the packaging it’s comparable to Charmin soft I think.

              It’s true living brand.

Sam’s brand is really good. I was very surprised at how close it came and how much cheaper it was!!!

                Good luck.

I switched to Spectrum for my phone and I have no complaints. There are other low-cost carriers like Mint and Visible and Boost.

See what’s best in your area. When I switched to Spectrun my bill went from $82/mo to $35.

Then when I bought a new phone I got a bill credit so I haven’t paid a phone bill since December.

Toilet paper I can’t help you.

If you’re not super picky about your phone, buy a decent refurbished one from Amazon for a couple hundred bucks and move over to Mint mobile. It’s the T-mobile network.

If you pay for a year up front, it’s a really great deal. So long as your area has good tmobile service, it’s perfect. $15-20/ month. Great customer service. We’ve had it for years.

If you truly use barely any data, Google Fi may be a better option.
                    I bought a Samsung s21 5g from Amazon for $200 and I’m happy as a clam.

It takes nice photos and I don’t need the newest or greatest of anything, but it’s new enough and works well.

You just have to make sure the phone is unlocked to use on Mint.

quilted northern ultra plush at Sams. Insrant Savings currently $24.48 for 36 rolls and I️ think it is softer than Charmin ultra soft!

On TP we don’t compromise on quality. I did however, decide what the minimal nunber of sheets will work for pee. Out TP lasts much longer now.

For cell phones we use twigby.

Verizon is a good signal in our area and Twigby piggybacks off of those towers.

Ask around locally to see what network has a good signal in your area. We pay less than $90 for two phones with 10 gig of data each.

We buy the private label at Walmart.
There are several prepaid cellular phone service options for less than contract.

No suggestions on the TP but try Cricket for your phones. They use the AT&T towers and network so coverage is pretty good.

We use a bidet and costco toilet paper. With a bidet you could use a towel to pat dry. I have att go plan for 26.50 a month.

My husband uses his phone for work so we get a stipend.

It pays about half the bill.

I have Pure Talk for my cell phone and it is $22 per month for me. It has been consistently better than the Verizon coverage in my area.

                                They use AT&T towers.

Once you get past the loss of softness, it won’t bother you. We use either Sam’s ‘Pom’ or Walmart cheap brand.

Our bottoms are still there. lol

So, I don’t directly have a toilet paper answer, we use Charmin, however prior to buying my bidet attachment (which I love and saves me money), I purchased a peri bottle (they are about $5 at Walmart).

They are kind of a manual bidet. They clean up the worse messes so you can use less toilet paper.

Helps after any trip to the toilet but most helpful with soft messy poops or menstrual mess.

my son has sensory issues w his aspergers. if it doesn’t feel a certain way, he won’t wear or use. tp included. found cottonelle purple bag comfort care. its 2ply.

the blue bag is 1. he uses less so I consider that a win. he won’t use bidet at all. but I get it from amazon. sometimes they have “used” toilet paper.

its where the original packaging was messed up, torn, the outer cardboard box damaged. anything. but it is about 25-40% off. just have to keep an eye out. my friends laughed and then checked.

we are all hooked. one has a sams and the other a costco and I have a bjs memberships. but as long as we find used, amazon can’t be beat. we pay bw $25-40 w att.

depending on when we started our plans. use our phones until they absolutely won’t work anymore. then use a cheap phone that we keep around until find a deal. we are on disability.

so can’t increase income. but can decrease expenses. we eat out, frugally, for a birthday lunch or special homemade meal that usually isn’t in the budget.

or go do something that we find a groupon experience for. u get creative when your income suddenly drops 75%.
