I do a lot of needlework but I research ways of getting supplies inexpensively. I’ve gotten most of my cross stitch supplies at low prices on eBay.
As I was working on a project today, I saw that I’m probably going to run out of a color and thought, OK, I’ll order some more. For those who don’t know about embroidery thread, most threads for sale at most craft stores is about 50 cents. Then there’s what’s called “fancy floss”, same amount of thread for about $2….that’s what I’m running out of…but I have LOTS of embroidery thread!! Instead of ordering more, I decided to combine colors 😏 works just fine!! I remind myself that small.
Victories lead to big ones!!
HankI bet it still looks beautiful.
MontelagraI used to do cross stitch. Didn’t know it was still a thing. I need a new hobby, maybe I’ll get back into it.
MickieI like the way you think.
