.. What company do you recommend?
I am currently with State Farm and we are paying a fortune right now. We live in Florida.
It’s gone up $125/month from what we used to pay over the span of a year. Paying about $300/month. My husband and I both have full coverage (the max plan you can have).
He drives a 2008 Acura and I drive a 2016 Kia Sorento. No accidents within the last 3 years.
Would you recommend switching plans or lowering my husband’s plan since his car is paid off and mine isn’t?
AliI’ve had State Farm for years. Everytime I try to shop around they are still the cheapest.
AlishaTalk to an insurance broker and they can compare prices with a number of different companies. You have a captured company right now and they will definitely be more expensive than free companies.
MichaelHighest deductible, quote around to multiple companies. Unfortunately it’s just a budget item in the 4 walls. And sell your car if you can’t pay it off in 2 years with the debt snow ball.
ChrisState Farm is a good company, but one of the higher priced. Shop around with an independent agent that can get quotes from several companies.
