I get invited to a lot of adult birthday parties.
I can’t find a good gift for under $25, and everyone spect a present.

I started to decline invitations, but I miss to go out.

Adult birthday parties? I always take flowers or a plant. If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, they have incredible options and very well priced.

Everybody loves flowers and nobody needs more stuff.

If I invited someone to celebrate my birthday, I want their PRESENCE, not their presents.

A nice card with a heartfelt message would mean more to me than more stuff.

One of my favorite gifts that I received last year, a friend brought me starters for my garden, tomato, squash, pumpkin.

I make a loaf of bread, cream puffs or something else I know they like. It’s hard to put a price tags on homemade gifts.

2 movie tickets, bottle of alcohol, body care products, unique items from craft shows like home made wool mittens, baked items for the party like a party cookie or cheesecake.

If they have pets maybe a toy or bag of treats for their fur baby?

The sort of things I do are always look for things that I can buy on special that are generic during the year and have a stash of things like candles, kitchen wares and if they are male friends, we can always just buy cologne.

Very boring but always useful/practical. I know my friends well enough to know the sort of things to look out for during the year but in all honesty it is definitely getting hard to stay under $30 even with discounts these days and find something decent.

What you could also do, is see if thrift stores have things that are unused with tag that could be a decent gift.

PI love collecting vintage glassware and that is cheap and beautiful.

I made lemon sugar scrubs one year. They were appreciated and only cost a little bit. ‘Hope that helps. Sugar, lemon oil, and coconut oil went in a small Ball jar with a bow.

I’d pair it with cotton gloves if I did it again.

Gift baskets/bags with snacks, toiletries, cleaning products, craft items, etc depending on the recipient. Can pick up items on sale/clearance.

International or unique snacks from places like Aldi can be fun.

I put together a large snack bag for my stepmom and 4 of her friends who were doing a long-weekend girls’ trip for about $40.

For one it could be much cheaper.

Resale shops are good places to look for great items. There usually are things with their price tag on them. Home goods would be a great gift card to give to anyone.

They have great little things to purchase too.

Like a jar of preserves, candy, note pads & the list goes on.

easy to do. every time I head out and there are gift cards available I pick up one for 10-15 dollars. ie panera food or barnes and noble books.

then I put them in a special gift envelope. time for a gift? I pull out a couple and put it in a card.

I also shop clearance for neither male or female gifts. ie I once found faux brown crocodile leather photo albums for under a dollar; I bought them all.

candles on sale, bartending books etc.

if you wait until the last minute for a gift you ll be spending more.

I like to hit up bath and body works in jan and July for their sales or go to the outlet stores after holidays.

Great gifts for reasonable for girls young to adults.

Check discounted items, thrift a beautiful basket or platter and add Dollarstore items (snacks) thrift popcorn bowl add microwaves popcorn.

Candy! A beautiful scarf, $25 gift card for pizza, or subway. Make a snack, brownie’s, peanut butter Rice Krispie squares, homemade cookies.
