I was pleasantly surprised with the news of a refund coming my way! I am also surprised by the anxiety that came with the news. I am concerned :that I will not use this appropriately. So here is my thought process:
Old me: Awesome! Let’s get that $800 Dyson Vacuum you’ve “needed!”
New me: How much can I throw towards debt, while allowing myself a small celebration for this unexpected win?
What do you all think? 100% towards debt? Save 10% of the refund for a treat yourself moment? I’m in BS2 for reference.
Karen(BS7) 100% toward debt. It isn’t a gift it is your money the government got to use all year.
MicheleI’d say 100% towards debt unless you don’t have step one done yet. Gazelle intense get the debts paid off ASAP. Good luck on your journey to financial peace.
