What are some good uses for Swiss cheese? We’re not crazy about spinach quiche, and we’re already using it on burgers and eggs.

      Just looking for new ideas.

I love the nutty, slightly sweet flavor of Swiss cheese, but I feel like I’m stuck in a rut. Beyond the usual burgers, omelets, and quiches, I’m curious—how else do you use Swiss cheese in creative ways?

Whether it’s unique snacks, comforting casseroles, or unexpected pairings, I’d love to hear your ideas! What are your favorite recipes or clever hacks that let Swiss cheese shine?

Please share your tips, tricks, or even quirky combinations.

      Thanks.

Use as part of your cheese in homemade mac and cheese. Delicious!

You can freeze swiss and most cheeses. To separate quickly, put wax paper between slices (I cut up cereal bags that I save).

Swiss is great for French onion soup, fondue, Reuben sandwiches.

I like a Swiss sandwich, hot or cold. I also put Swiss in a cheese omelette or scrambled eggs. It could be put in a grilled cheese sandwich.

I usually use at least 2 slices of cheese in mine so 2 different kinds.

With triscuits as a snack. Add some grapes. OK now I’m hungry.

Grilled cheese sandwiches..we grill them with sweet hot pepper jelly or any jelly with a sprinkle of cayenne powder.

                French onion soup.

I used it on my french onion soup when I didn’t have munster.

We use it in sandwiches, grilled cheese, mac n cheese, French onion soup, mushroom swiss burgers, chicken cordon swiss and snacking.

I use it anywhere I would use any other cheese including omelettes, stuffed mushrooms and bell peppers.
