I have $94k in a traditional IRA thru Edward Jones. After following this page, it seems I should put that $ elsewhere.
Do I move it to a traditional IRA thru Fidelity to avoid the fees that EJ is making from me?
SandyMaybe. Do you know how you will invest the money? Do you feel confident you will make good decisions when markets are volatile?
What does your current advisor do for you?
Are you interested in learning more about investing?
Edward Jones is generally an expensive platform and their advisors are vastly different.
Review your situation and other options including but not limited to self management at Fidelity.
AubreeHeads up there will probably be a transfer fee from EJ (all companies the funds are transferring out of do this).
But yiu might be able to get Fidelity or the new company to cover it if asked nicely
